Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) is packed with polysaccharopeptides (PSP) and polysaccharide-K (PSK), which have been extensively studied for their immune-enhancing and gut microbiome-supporting properties. The dual-extraction process not only captures the compounds that dissolve in water such as beta-glucans and polysaccharides P & K, but it also captures the compounds that do not dissolve in water by using alcohol. The additional alcohol extraction contains the important anti-oxidant and cellular repair compounds such as ergosterol, trametenolic acid, polyphenols and flavonoids. The two extracts are then combined into a 30% alcohol solution which allows the extract to keep shelf stable, as well as improves bioavailability so the body takes more of the most beneficial compounds. This is a 30 day supply in an easy to use 30ml bottle with measured dropper.
