How Supercritical™ Triple-Phase extraction works

Standard dual extracts use alcohol and water only, which leaves many fat-soluble compounds behind. Our process runs three separate extractions on the same fruiting body:

• Phase 1, supercritical CO2: captures fat-soluble compounds such as hericenones and hericene A
• Phase 2, ethanol: captures alcohol-soluble compounds
• Phase 3, hot water: captures water-soluble polysaccharides, including beta-glucans

The three phases are combined into one full-spectrum liquid, so a single 1ml serve carries compounds from all three.

Independently tested at the Queensland Brain Institute

The Meunier Laboratory at the Queensland Brain Institute (The University of Queensland) used LC-MS/MS to measure hericene A across commercial Lion's Mane products sold in Australia. Results spanned a roughly 4,700-fold range between the lowest and highest liquid samples. Every Australian-grown product outperformed every imported product, and MYCOfactor's Lion's Mane extract measured more than 10 times higher than the next closest product.
