We use only Australian grown.

See our mushrooms and meet our farmers.

We're tired of big mushroom brands not being able to show the actual mushrooms that go into their products, and then using deceptive wording or packaging to hide their sources.

Instead, scroll down to see our mushrooms, grown organically in Australia by the following farms:

Lion's Mane, Reishi & Shiitake

We proudly source from Urban Valley gourmet mushroom farm - Brisbane QLD

Urban Valley is full scale urban mushroom farm located within a revitalised city space in the heart of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley. Founded in 2021 by Joel and MYCOfactor's own Rachel on a commitment to sustainability and accessibility, their mushrooms are grown using Australian agricultural byproducts and organic practices. In this indoor vertical farming set up, the mushrooms are grown in a series of specialised cool rooms which keep them in ideal conditions year round. Urban Valley handles the entire lifecycle of the mushroom from mycelium to fruiting body with an on site lab and incubation room. Temperatures, constant fresh air exchange, light parameters and optimal humidity swing are all tailored to each species of mushroom to in order produce the thriving, healthy, clean mushrooms.

Urban Valley is committed to safety and holds Freshcare safety certification, a globally recognised voluntary pathway for growers to demonstrate and verify strict safety standards to customers across markets and regulatory bodies.

Because of Urban Valley's commitment to strict organic practices, their mushrooms are tested and free from heavy metals and chemical residues.

Cordyceps

We proudly source from MYCRO - Perth WA

MYCRO shares our same ethos and has been championing the importance of Australian mushrooms since the farm's foundation. George began farming gourmet mushrooms but that led to his passion for bioactive mushooms in 2024. He now grows the highest quality Cordyceps militaris in Australia. He's paving the way with growing techniques and coaxing this mushroom to healthy strong yields. Before George, Cordyceps has and still is almost always from an imported source and questionable quality at best. When you see the bright orange colour of the Cordyceps extract, you'll know how incredibly vibrant, fresh and quality the mushrooms we use are. Thank George for that.

Often called "the zombie mushroom" there's no reason to fear, these Cordyceps are actually grown on a brown rice substrate.
